Anyone know of a good headphone modifier in North America?
I don’t need anything crazy done.

I know there is custom cans in the UK. But I haven’t seen anyone good here in the US

You might want to talk to JM Audio Editions. They specialize in headphone mods, and have their own models as well. Don't know if they'll work on your set, but it won't hurt to ask.

Maybe in the near future to get a more robust wire put in my Beyerdynamic 1990 since this might not hold up well
And it’s good to know since I haven’t seen anyone have a good mid shop like custom cans in the UK

John Massaria (JM Audio) would be more like if you wanted to damp and tune it, or replace the drivers.

Do they sell Beyer ear pads from the US since it costs as much for shipping ear pads from Europe as the pads?
