New Head-Fier
Pros: - nice styling (subjective ... duh!)
- good bass (when ear tips have seal)
- holographic sound
- exceptional tonal presentation - forward midrange
- Instruments such as cello, drums, and bongos, but also male and female vocals sound superb
- without a trace of sibilants
Cons: - the cable has a very twisted ear hook, making it simply very uncomfortable
- forward midrange and close presentation of sound will not appeal to everyone (subjective)
- a little lack of sparkle in the high registers
- this is not the king of natural sound
- it is not a super clean sound, but let’s not exaggerate: it is clear, but not crystal clear
Let me start with a confession:

As soon as I saw them I immediately fell in love with them.

500+ Head-Fier
Pros: ● Unboxing experience on this one makes us feel exuberant on how its overall presentation is well-thought with attention to detail on it.
● Great workmanship of its shell chassis
● Despite of the shell size, it still gives a good fitting and excellent passive noise isolation
● Inclusion of different types of Sancai ear tips.
● High quality stock cable with modular features, it also feels quite well-balanced to hold and also flexible.
● Premium PU-leather IEM storage case.
● It has a balanced-neutral sound profile.
● Clean, precise and incisive bass response, it has a rumbly sub-bass presence.
● Almost immaculate, well-balanced and clear midrange presentation.
● Properly energetic, smooth well-articulate female vocals particularly on mezzo-sopranos and sopranos.
● Crisp and lively sound on strings, airy and silvery sound on woodwinds.
● It has a smooth yet shimmering treble response. Also sufficiently sparkly with excellent airy extension.
● Spaciously sound/speaker stage projection
● Impressive layering and separation on its atmospheric stereo imaging soundscape.
● Pretty resolving sounding set.
Cons: ● Definitely not for bass head as it doesn't have enough slam and whack on its bass response.
● Some male vocals appear to sound a bit lean and less natural sounding.
● Might be still energetic to some treble sensitive folks.
● Looking for a warm, analogue-ish and coloured sound profile for fun, engaging and musical factor, this set isn't the one you are looking for.
● As I praised its premium-feel when I unbox this one, its packaging box is a bit too large for all the contents inside but this is just my slight subjective nitpicking.

Pros: - bass
- inoffensive treble
- rich sound
Cons: - not the best iem for recordings that are already rich in bass and poor in treble
An iem that works wonderfully with metal and rock, where those electric guitars can be a bit grating with bright iems. I had never enjoyed L.A. Woman by Doors or The Number of the Beast by Iron...

Pros: Incredible cheap at $24
ANC and Transparency ( normally not available at this price point)
Mobile App for configuration
3 excellent sounding Profiles (Basshead especially is good)
Cons: ANC mode is ok but not great
Microphone was a bit poor
Case is open by design so might gather dust - Moondrop offer a separate case now
Treble is just average at this price point (if it was an IEM - still very good for a TWS)

Headphoneus Supremus
Pros: Able to transparently reveal the exact nature of sources, cables........and even ear-tips
A great even/complete and correct tune
Showing BA IEMs are still going strong
A TOTL Flagship at a mid-fi price

Included triple-plug modular cable made from 6N single crystal copper in a Litz configuration

BRAS System
1) Prevents resonance from high frequencies
2) Discharges certain frequencies
3) Eliminates chance of high frequency ear-damage
4) Long-term wear without pressure build-up
5) Enhances lower mids and bass response though air pressure reserve

10 name brand drivers per side:
-Sonion AcuPass Vented Woofer (2BA)
-Knowles HODTEC (2BA)
-Knowles GR31653 x 2 (4BA)
-Knowles TWFK (2BA)

Emotionally involving tune while staying conservative and poised
Beautiful engaging vocals along with fully detailed midrange
Exciting, yet smooth as silk treble along with high-highs fully itemized into the stage
Nice rumble and fully formed bass response worthy of all genres
One of the singularly most well rounded IEMs I have ever encountered
2 fully usable DIP-Switches to adjust tone
A soundtrack lovers dream come true
A symphony lovers last IEM purchase
Cons: It could be argued at times there is not quite enough low-end authority for Rock, yet I love the Butastur for EDM, so go figure?

Great review!
I need more experiments with cables and eartips to find more subbass and more airy treble for my Butastur.
Overall Butastur is my best IEM I guess, I just haven't enough time for it 😔

Headphoneus Supremus
Pros: + Laser-sharp instrument separation and layering
+ Outstanding detail retrieval
+ Immersive and 3D soundstage and imaging
+ Snappy and exciting transient response
+ Subbass rumble and texture
+ Tonality is spot on
Cons: - Upper treble can become harsh with a shallow fit
- Stock tips might not provide the necessary deep fit to avoid treble harshness
- Can be demanding in terms of the DAC/amp to pair with it

@DAPpower I don’t have the crimson anymore, but happen to have an anni 2023 here, so this would be partially from memory. I would say the bass is just different. I’m surprised by how boomy and bloomy the bass of Anni 2023 is (in a good way). That bloom does not exist on Crimson. I think both IEM pack a subbass kick but due to the tuning, the subbassy nature of Crimson comes out more whilst Anni sounds more midbassy.

Anni has more treble quantity to me, but it’s not right there at the edge of treble comfort like Crimson. Maybe the feathery “ethereal” of EST treble helps here. Or maybe just because of the midbass masking.

Hope these help.

Pros: 1. Delightful and balanced sound
2. Musical and engaging response
3. Detailed and airy presentation
4. Expressive and well-bodied notes
5. Controlled yet impactful bass
Cons: 1. A nitpick actually, rarely sibilance surfaces and becomes noticeable on bright tracks or female vocals emphasised tracks.

New Head-Fier
Pros: The bass quality and quantity are unparalleled in its price bracket for all BA driver configurations.
The mids are rich, smooth, and spacious, with excellent vocals for both male and female voices.
The soundstage and imaging are exceptional.
The treble is sharp, according to my taste.
The cable quality is excellent.
Cons: Treble is not suitable for individuals sensitive to treble.
The metal IEM box is quite heavy and may be cumbersome when stored in a bag.
The IEM fitting, which falls into the large category, may not be suitable for everyone.

Double The U-Shape Become W-Shape.

Still remember the first time auditioning the 64Audio U4s, which introduced me to a higher level of IEM, especially in terms of detail and...

Cons: Price is prohibitive

100+ Head-Fier
Pros: + Premium looking well-built steel shells
+ Very ergonomic & comfortable despite a bit of weight
+ Good staging
+ Great Bass
+ Nozzle features providing flexibility
+ Good non-peaky treble
+ Pairs well with most dongles and portable players

Cons: - Lack of good ear-tips
- Midrange could be more textured and meatier on the default nozzle (nit-picking)
