Here's my latest review for the Fiio JH5 (Head-fi and blog). I haven't really seen this one talked about much which is a shame. It's an excellent mature tuning and has a good build quality. Hopefully some others can hear it too and weigh in.

+1 for the Hiby FC4. It's a great wired option.

My vote would be for the iFi GO blu. A lovely small device that sounds great with BT but also can be used with usb-c as well. Just going to shamelessly plug my own review of the Conch here 😉

I have tried earbuds a few different times but I just can't get them to fit comfortably. It always puts pressure on my tragus and gets really painful after about 10 minutes. I have the same issue with Airpod style TWS too.

I agree with TDM. The EM6L is great for it's price and really is my favorite tuned Simgot to date but it can't match up against much higher tiered iems. It's still worth a listen for sure.

😔 unfortunately I don't have any desktop amps so I hope the Kensei can drive them well. I'm sure it has the power it's a very capable dongle.

According to the rep, the Pilgrim and Noir both use 1DD and 3 BA but the Pilgrim uses 2BA for highs and the Noir uses 2 for the mids. They said the Noir is warmer and has fuller mids compared to the Pilgrim. Of course the Noir comes with a better cable, hence the price increase.
